Between February and July 2015, during several trips to Malaga, the photographer became part of the daily activities of the centre and became invisible to the eyes of all these dependent people, the protagonists of the report.
Thanks to her committed and discreet presence, Delphine managed to gather the most human and vulnerable side of each of these people: their joys, their routines, their phobias. Penetrating into the intimate space of their families, she was able to capture their inner worlds, their relationships with others, while revealing the feelings underlying any relationship of dependence.
This beautiful and strong emotional journey invites people to break down the prejudices about intellectual disabilities. It tries to raise public awareness of the importance of perceiving and treating these people differently, since it is obvious that, in the end, we are all very special people.
