They wanted a woman photographer because there were 50 female para-athletes. I photographed the competitions as well as training camps. I had, once more, the opportunity to work with the handicapped, which is a subject dear to my heart. It was a challenging and enriching experience. I shared laughs and moments of complicity, and I admired their courage and determination.
